Title: Development Engineer
Location: Regeneration Technologies, Inc Gainesville, Florida

Regeneration Technologies, a leader in science and safety, processes and sterilizes human tissue into allograft implants for orthopedic, spine, sports medicine and cardiovascular surgeries, is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Description: Responsible for initial design control activities including prototyping and transition to Operations for full scale production. Design work will involve a comprehensive system of biologic implants, associated instruments and techniques. R&D project liaison during manufacturing scale up phase. Considerable interaction with involved surgeon champions, and corporate manufacturing and sales/marketing counterparts. Establishes /maintains professional working relationships with outside technical consultants, attorneys, vendors, surgeons, sales representatives, and all individuals involved with product development, design, testing and marketing/sales. Facilitates the transfer of technological expertise to other departments to support product line following market release.

Minimum Qualifications: Advanced degree in Engineering or Life Science, Minimum 5 years product development experience in orthopedic, biologic, and/or medical device industry. Experience in providing guidance/training to marketing, sales, surgeons. Working knowledge of design control procedures, manufacturing processes, and quality systems. Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be willing to complete the company provided Hep B vaccination series.
