The CINECA supercomputing centre, located here in Bologna, is
participating in a EU supported action called HPC-Europa. Under this
action, it is possible to apply for brief visit grant:
http://www.hpc-europa.org/call_for_candidature.html

the grant, open to researchers and grad students working in european
institutions provides:
- access to some of the most powerful High Performance Computing
(HPC) facilities in Europe;
- HPC consultancy from experienced staff;
- opportunities to collaborate with scientists working in related
fields at a relevant local research institute;
- travel costs, subsistence expenses and accommodation (may be in a
shared flat).

On the basis of the constant collaboration we enjoy with cineca, we
would be happy to see applications from colleagues working in the
area of computational biomechanics willing to spend some time in
Bologna working on projects of mutual interest with our unit.

The deadline is tomorrow, so probably too late (although the
application is on line), but another deadline is scheduled for
November 2004.

Regards

Tiger! Tiger! Burning bright in the forest of the night,
what immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?
