RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION
Human Neuromechanics Laboratory

DUTIES
Assist in setting up, using, and troubleshooting biomechanics lab
equipment, including motion analysis systems, EMG, force platforms and real
time robotic control systems. Write computer programs for real time control
of robotic devices for assisting gait rehabilitation. Additional duties
will include machining; euipment design and assembly; general library
research; assisting laboratory staff with experiments; ordering equipment
and supplies; collecting, analyzing, coding and tabulating data; and minor
clerical work.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: B.S. in Engineering or Movement Science. Experience with computer
programming (Matlab, Simulink), electronics troubleshooting, robotics,
machining and/or biomechanics research.
Desired: M.S. in Engineering or Movement Science

SALARY
Commensurate with experience and education.

CLOSING DATE
August 15, 2004.

STARTING DATE
August 15, 2004, or as soon thereafter as possible.
