Physical Therapy Faculty
Join an accredited, dynamic graduate Physical Therapy program in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, College of Health Professions. The Department has 14 full-time faculty members representing physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists and highly qualified clinical and academic adjunct instructors. Our program currently is offered at the masterís degree level, but we anticipate having both a DPT and a transitional DPT in place by 2005 (approval pending). The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is in the process of developing a Program for Movement, Exercise, and Rehabilitation Research, to assist faculty in research, educational, and clinical endeavors, and collaborative work with departments across the University and with other Institutions. A sate of the art motion analysis and a human physiological performance laboratories will be components of the Program.

Teach in your area of expertise. Candidates with expertise in pediatric physical therapy and motor
development will be given priority status. Candidates with expertise in other areas of the discipline of physical therapy are also encouraged to apply.
Apply if you hold a doctoral degree, are eligible for licensure in South Carolina, and have experience or promise in teaching and collaborative research. ! Highly qualified junior candidates will be considered. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure track position. Rank is open. Salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience.
