View Full Version : aerobic dance injuries due to floor surface

Hello all,

I am looking for scientific studies that have examined the relationship
between floor surface and aerobic dance injuries. There is much in the lay
literature to suggest that aerobic dance injuries occur more frequently on
harder surfaces such as non-sprung wooden, turf, or tartan floors. However,
I have not been successful in finding any scientific research that links
aerobic dance injuries to surface type. Is anyone out there aware of the
scientific evidence that supports this idea?
