Dear Colleagues:
I discovered only today that Sir Godfrey Hounsfield, a British
electrical engineer whose work in creating the computerized axial
tomography scanner, the CAT scan, won him a Nobel Prize, died Aug.
12. Considering the importance that Hounsfield work had for
biomechanics, I felt appropriate to circulate these bad news.

Tiger! Tiger! Burning bright in the forest of the night,
what immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?
