POST-DOCTORAL ASSOCIATE IN MUSCULOSKELETAL BIOMECHANICS

We have an immediate opening for a post-doctoral associate to do research
creating subject specific neuromuscular biomechanical models of healthy
people and individuals with neuromuscular/musculoskeletal impairments. The
work involves muscle modeling, MRI, ultrasound, gait analysis and
electromyography.

Applicants should have a recent doctoral degree in biomedical engineering,
mechanical or electrical engineering, biomechanics, kinesiology, or a
related discipline. A record of research in biomechanical modeling or
simulation is preferred. Laboratory experience with biomechanical
measurements, electromyography, motion analysis, MRI, and ultrasound is a
plus, but not a strict requirement. However, computer programming skills and
knowledge of muscle biomechanics is particularly important.

This work will be done at the Center for Biomedical Engineering Research
(CBER) at the University of Delaware (www.cber.udel.edu) through NIH funded
research grants.

Salary is negotiable, and commensurate with experience.

Interested applicants should send a CV, including the names of three
references, to me via e-mail, fax, or post at the following address:
