Announcement of Programme and final call for Delegates

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AT THE BIOMATERIALS/TISSUE INTERFACE

The National Physical Laboratory
Teddington, London, England
28th -29th October 2004

We are pleased to announce the final programme and speakers for the
above event. Full details can be found on

The main features of the two day event are as follows and we very
much look forward to your participation in what we believe will be an
excellent format to move research forward and to network in the
emerging technologies at the biomaterials/tissue interface:


SESSION ON FUNDING IN MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY

This session will include presentations from EPSRC, EU/DTI HELPDESK
and COMMERCIALISING of Medical Technology and includes up to date
information on funding streams and future plans within the Medical
Technology Sector.

WORKSHOP SESSION ON EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES

This session will be held at the end of the meeting and will include
input from the delegates that will provide an agenda/strategy for R&D
on Emerging Technologies at the Biomaterials/Tissue Interface. The
developed plan will published on the website after the meeting.

PRESENTATIONS/POSTERS/DISPLAYS

Presentations will given by leading experts within the field of
biomaterials/tissue (see programme on web), and posters and a
displays/desktop area will also be provided for Company/Commercial
organisation. Please note that display space is included in the
registration fee and posters and displays may still be submitted.
