Pepperdine University seeks an instructor for an undergraduate class in
Biomechanics in the spring semester of 2005.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. in Biomechanics (or a related discipline). Applicants who are A.B.D.
or who possess a Master's degree in biomechanics (or a related discipline)
may be considered, if they have prior teaching experience.

End: 5/29/05

CLASS TIME

At present, the lecture class is scheduled to meet on Thursday evenings from
7-10 pm and the lab sections are scheduled from 8-11 am and from 11 am to 2
pm on Fridays. If the position is filled before 10/25/04, it may be
possible to reschedule the class and lab times to accommodate the
instructor's schedule.

EXPECTATIONS

Instructor is responsible for teaching the lecture class (3 hours weekly)
and two 3-hour laboratory sections weekly. Enrollment will be approximately
25 students with 12 or 13 students in each lab section. Instructor will be
required to hold 1-2 office hours weekly.

SALARY/PAY RATE

Appointment and pay rate will be based upon experience and qualifications of
the individual according to University guidelines.
