We have an opening for a Post-doc (possibly even a good candidate with a masters) with our group. We are hoping to find someone with a strong physiology background, experience in ergonomics would be beneficial as well. US citizenship is required.

Research Scientist: The Biomechanics Branch, Bioscience and Protection
Division of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has an urgent need to fill several positions for a Postgraduate Research Associate in the area of research physiology and biomechanics. An immediate opening exists for
outstanding bachelors, masters or Ph.D. recipient with experience in
physiology, biomechanics, ergonomics, or a related field. Team-focused
studies and major duties would include research into the physiological
effects of physical fatigue on performance, correlation of reduced blood
flow to operational capabilities, relationship of ergonomics to biomechanics
and physical fatigue as well as long term health and safety risks. Research projects will study the effects of long term exposure to environmental stressors caused from confinement to small areas including sitting in cockpits and wearing weighted helmets.

Other projects include human injury tolerance, biodynamics and impact.
