Graduate Study in Biomedical Engineering at UT Austin:

The Nonlinear Biodynamics Lab anticipates having a funded position
available for a Ph.D. student to study the biomechanics and motor control
of human movement. The specific projects will involve applying advanced
experimental and possibly modeling approaches to examine how movement
coordination changes over time with progressing muscle fatigue in an upper
extremity repetitive movement task. This project will have applications to
understanding the basic neural control of human movement, how muscle
fatigue affects these processes, and to the long term development of
repetitive stress injuries.
