The Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences at the
Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University seeks a full time
faculty member at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in the area
of Human Gross Anatomy, including embryology and histology. The position
will be offered on the non-tenure or tenure track depending on the
qualifications of the applicant. Salary is negotiable.

Applicants will preferably have an earned doctorate but applicants who have
substantial coursework towards a doctoral degree will be considered. A
degree in physical therapy is preferred but not required. Applicants will
have previous teaching experience, preferably in a physical therapy program
but an applicant who has familiarity with physical therapy will also be
considered. The position involves coordinating and teaching the Human Gross
Anatomy course, including content in embryology and histology. Expertise in
neuroanatomy is preferred but not required. Additional teaching
responsibilities will be determined based on the applicant's
experience/preparation. Other responsibilities of the position include
student advising, scholarship, mentoring research projects, serving on
department/university committees and community service.
