To whom it may concern, I would like to advertise the following positions.



The National Centre for Biomedical Engineering Science (NCBES) is an
interdisciplinary Research Centre at NUI, Galway bringing together
engineers, scientists and clinicians in a shared, team-based and
problem-centred approach to research. NCBES research includes programmes
investigating cardiovascular medicine, orthopaedics, neurodegenerative
disease and cancer. Currently the Centre has over 40 academic members, and
a research staff complement of more than 170, including post-doctoral and
post-graduate researchers. The National University of Ireland, Galway was
founded in 1845; it is now a thriving institution with over 14,500 students
(from over 40 countries). The University is situated close to the heart of
Galway, a compact, thriving city in the West of Ireland.


Research Fellowships are available in the Biomaterials and Tissue
Engineering Cluster in the following areas:



a) Physiological Simulator Development for Cardiovascular Applications

Qualifications: For the Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge positions
candidates must have a minimum of 4 years research experience post primary
degree or a PhD. For the FP6 STREP and Enterprise Ireland positions
candidates must have a PhD.



Salary: circa 40k pa (depending on post and experience)
