Position Title: One-Year Temporary Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor
in Exercise Science; Kinesiology Division; School of Human Movement,
Sport, and Leisure Studies

Primary Function: Complete teaching and service in an area of exercise
science (e.g., research methods, measurement and evaluation, exercise
physiology, biomechanics, or motor development).

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in research methods,
measurement and evaluation, clinical exercise physiology, exercise
prescription, fitness, and introduction to kinesiology;
2. Supervise students enrolled in exercise specialist and human movement
science field experience courses;
3. Advise undergraduate and graduate students in the exercise specialist,
human movement science, and developmental kinesiology
majors.

Professional Qualifications:
Doctorate in exercise science or closely related discipline preferred,
master's considered.
Evidence of research productivity and/or potential.

Rank and Salary:
Assistant Professor or Instructor. One-year temporary position.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; full
benefits.

Effective Date of Employment: August 2005
