Please may I bring to your attention the following job opportunity:

University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science
in association with St Hilda's College or Wadham College, Oxford

Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1st March 2006,
or as soon as possible thereafter. Candidates should be able to teach a
range of topics in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering within a 4 year
Engineering Science syllabus, and have research interests in orthopaedic
biomechanics. The Lecturership is associated with a Tutorial Fellowship at
St Hilda's College or Wadham College. If the appointee is a man he will be
elected a Fellow of Wadham; the statutes of St Hilda's College permit the
appointment only of women fellows, so if a woman is appointed, she will be
offered the choice of accepting a fellowship at either Wadham College or
at St Hilda's College. The combined University and College salary will be
according to age on a scale of up to 45,707 per annum (under review),
plus other benefits.
