Dear all,

We are looking at purchasing a microscopy digital imaging suite from
Leica for our lab to quantitatively assess muscle biopsy data for
general morphological characteristics (ie mean fibre area, fibre-type
proportions, fibre numbers, etc).

Does anyone have any experience using Leica microscopy equipment and
Qwin software for muscle biopsy analyses? If so, could you please let me
know what you think of it, pros, cons etc.

Also, the quote we have from Leica does not include a motorised stage,
thus image stitching would not be possible. Is this a problem?

Many thanks in appreciation,

Jack Cannon
