Dear all,

Forwarded is the first annoncement of SAE Digital Human Modeling for
Design and Engineering Conference 2007.

Digital Human Modeling for Design and Engineering Conference
June 12-14, 2007
University of Washington
Seattle, WA

The Tenth annual Digital Human Modeling for Design & Engineering
Conference (DHMC) will be held at The University of Washington. The
conference will be administered by the Society of Automotive Engineers
(SAE) with primary support coming from SAE’s Human Modeling and G-13
Committee on Human Modeling Technology. The conference will provide an
international forum for the exchange of new and significant technical
information about the development and the application of digital human
models. In addition, the event will provide an environment for critical
discussion and sharing of information among scientists, industry users
and developers of digital human models. Papers from international
organizations are welcome and encouraged.

The Program Committee will accept abstracts through November 20, 2006.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
• Modeling
• Standards and Regulations
• Advanced Measuring Methods
• Advanced Size/Shape Analysis
• 3D Human Modeling
• Case Studies
• Applications of Human Models
• Human Models Systems Interfaces (GUI, VE, manual, tutorial)
• Prediction and Assessment of Posture and Comfort
• Physics Based Modeling
• Digital Human Models in Virtual Reality, Gaming and Entertainment
