Dear subscribers,

I will be giving a free webcast about a generic detailed rigid-body
lumbar spine model on Monday, December 4, 2006. To accommodate viewers
from different sides of the planet we are running the presentation twice
with 12 hours interval:

First show: 9am Central European Time, 3am Eastern Time.
Second show: 9pm Central European Time, 3pm Eastern Time.

The webcast will present a detailed model of the lumbar spine, which
recently has been published in the Journal of Biomechanics:
http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jbiomech.2006.05.030

We will go through the model and its assumptions including the muscles,
intra-abdominal pressure and validation. With the presented model it
will be possible to investigate a range of research questions, because
the model is relatively easy to share and modify. Moreover some future
projects related to this model will be discussed.
