In response to our unprecedented growth in 2006, Vicon is expanding our
North America Life Science division. To meet the needs of our current
and future customers we have an immediate opening for a creative,
gregarious and team-oriented person to assist in supporting and
developing our video and optical capture systems for life sciences.

We are interested in people with a solid biomechanics background to
assist with computer hardware installation, maintenance and repair,
customer training and support, software/hardware testing, product design
and biomechanical assessments. You will collaborate with the product
design team and evaluate and test new products and prototypes. You will
also help innovate all phases of systems support. This position requires
that you have a BS or MS degree in a related field. Domestic and some
international travel will be required. The ideal candidate will have
strong written and verbal communication skills, problem solving
expertise, and experience with electronic test equipment, basic circuit
design and motion capture technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Perform front-line technical support to Vicon customers
- Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot customer technical issues via
phone, web, and e-mail
- Plan and perform in-house and on-site customer training
- Develop and maintain accurate records pertaining to customer orders
and contacts
- Write technical documentation
- Assist with hardware warranty and repair
- Set up and test hardware and software
- Review customer orders for accuracy and suitability
- Carry out multiple tasks simultaneously
