Post-Doctoral Research Position
Bone Biomechanics
Imperial College London

Now accepting applications for a two year post-doctoral fellowship in bone biomechanics in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London. The primary project will be to characterize bone structure (using mechanical testing, SEM, AFM, microCT, and computational modelling) of genetically deficient bone treated with novel therapies. The project is a collaboration between the Department of Bioengineering and the Experimental Fetal Medicine group at Imperial.

Imperial College is the premiere Engineering institution in the UK. Located in the heart of London, it offers a strong academic community in engineering and medicine in a vibrant location.

Candidates should have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials, or Bioengineering with previous experience in experimental musculoskeletal research. The candidate should have an academic record of scientific excellence, independent research, and a strong interest in an interdisciplinary approach to research.

Start date of April/May.
Salary Range : 27,000 - 32,000 per annum
