With the recent appointment of a new president and
significant enhancements in its research and
academic focus, Temple aims to become one of the
nation’s premier research and teaching
institutions in the area of the health sciences.
The University expects to make over 125 faculty
appointments over the next several years. Join an

entry level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), a
transition to the Doctor of Physical Therapy
(T-DPT), and a PhD Program in Physical Therapy.

We have one full-time, tenure track faculty
appointment available and we are looking for an
individual with expertise in the Musculoskeletal
area. Only applicants with a well-defined,
clinically relevant research agenda will be
considered. We are especially interested in those
who embrace the scientist-practitioner model where
clinical activity is predicated on science and where
excellent science guides clinical efforts.

Responsibilities include the development of
collaborative research activities and grant
proposals, mentoring of graduate students, teaching
in the entry level and advanced degree program,
developing collaborative research activities and
grant proposals, student mentoring, and contributing
to national service activities. Temple is an equal

A graduate degree (PhD or equivalent) is required. A
degree and licensure in Physical Therapy is
preferred but not necessary. Post-doctoral or
evidence of research experience is an asset.
