Dear all,

I have a question concerning the flexion peaks of knee joint in gait
analysis. In most textbooks and papers the normal knee flexion/extension
curve during walking was reported consisting of two flexion peaks: one in
the stance phase and the other in the swing phase. The 1st one is usually
about 20 degrees. However, in the data we collected during the past year, we
found quite a few healthy subjects (about 10 of 30 and most of them are
females) without the 1st flexion peak. Their knees flexed little (
