The Department of Kinesiology at the University of Texas at El Paso is
seeking applicants for one-year renewable graduate teaching
assistantships for students interested in obtaining their Masters of
Science in Kinesiology with specialization in Pedagogy of Physical
Activity or Exercise Science. The appointment will begin September 1,
2007. TAs will teach undergraduate laboratories related to biomechanics,
exercise physiology, fitness programs, or coronary intervention and
assist faculty with research for no more than 20 hours per week.
Screening of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the
positions are filled. Request application from Dr. George A. King,
Graduate Coordinator, gking@utep.edu; and submit all documents
(application, curriculum vita, and three letters of recommendation)
electronically to Dr. King. The University of Texas at El Paso offers 81
BS, 74 MS, and 14 Doctoral degrees including an Interdisciplinary PhD in
Health Sciences. The Kinesiology Department offers BS and MS degrees to
approximately 350 undergraduate and 40 graduate students (. The
