Salary Range: $22,390 - $33,590
Shift/Hours/Days: Monday through Friday
Part-Time: 20 Hours per Week

The Musculoskeletal and Sport Injury Research Group at The University of
Michigan seeks a qualified laboratory technician to help run day-to-day
activities in sports injury-related studies and complete laboratory
tasks as specified. The research focus in the laboratory is the
neuromuscular and biomechanical mechanisms of musculoskeletal and sports

Duties include but are not limited to:
* Collection and analysis of human movement and strength data, using
Vicon motion capture systems, AMTI force platforms, Delsys EMG
equipment, and isokinetic dynamometers.
* Management of experiments with human subjects
* Maintaining documentation on laboratory procedures

Requirements for this position are:
* A Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Engineering, or related
discipline, Master's degree preferred.
* The person should be detail oriented with the capacity to manage or
coordinate several study-related tasks concurrently.
* The position involves close interaction with faculty and
graduate/undergraduate students; thus successful candidates would have
strong people skills.
* Applicants with research experience and adequate programming (eg.,
C++, Matlab and Labview) skills will be given preference

NOTE: The position is available immediately. The full-time salary range
stated above is depending on education and experience. The position
includes benefits.
