Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Athletic Training. This is a new
9-month position with summer teaching possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Education Coordinator, teach
undergraduate and graduate athletic training classes, advise students,
conduct collaborative and independent research, mentor student research
and engage in department, college, university and professional service.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimal education of a Doctoral candidate (ABD),
current BOC certification, teaching experience, 3-years of clinical
instructor experience, and a line of research that has the potential to
yield a publication record are required. Preference will be given to an
individual who has an earned doctorate and clinical instructor educator
training. Individuals with a Pedagogy line of research are encouraged
to apply. Applicant must be eligible for Indiana Athletic Training
License at time of appointment.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience.

THE DEPARTMENT: The Athletic Training Department contains: a
CAATE-accredited entry-level Bachelors program and a NATA-accredited
post-professional Master*s program. The department also provides
healthcare to student-athletes through Athletic Training Services and
the Indiana State University Rehabilitation Clinic.

THE UNIVERSITY: Indiana State University is a comprehensive,
research-intensive institution with degree programs ranging from
Associate to Doctoral levels. It was founded in 1865 and is comprised of
the Colleges of Arts & Science; Business; Education; Nursing Health and
Human Services; and Technology and a School of Graduate Studies. ISU is

LOCATION: Terre Haute, Indiana, is a community of approximately
60,000 people serving as a major retailing area for west central Indiana
and east central Illinois. Four other colleges and universities are
located in Terre Haute in addition to Indiana State University. Terre
Haute is 70 miles from Indianapolis and 180 miles from Chicago,
Cincinnati, Louisville and St. Louis.
