*Position in Kinesiology *
The Department of Kinesiology at the University of Montreal is looking for
two professors for tenure-track positions. The Department offers a B.Sc.
program in Kinesiology, as well as an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. program in
Kinesiology. It also offers a specialized graduate study program in
kinesiology. The Department contributes significantly to the B.Ed. in
Physical Education and Health at the Faculty of Education.


*Duties *
Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Development of a research
program and supervision of graduate students.


*Qualifications *

Ph.D. in Physical Activity Sciences or in a related field. The main axis for
research and training development at the Department of Kinesiology is *Physical
Activity and Human Development*, with a focus on physical activity from
children to seniors. The following areas of specialization will be
prioritized: 1) Biomechanics (modelisation and simulation of human
movement), 2) Physical Training

(healthy and symptomatic populations), 3) Promotion of Physical Activity,
and 4) Motor Control. Knowledge of French is required. Good publication
record. Teaching experience.
