The Department of Kinesiology announces the availability of a tenure-track
position with a commitment to scholarly productivity, teaching excellence,
and service in the area of Motor Learning or Motor Behavior related fields.
The appointment will be effective August, 2008.

Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Kinesiology, or a related field.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong potential to establish an independent
research program consistent with expectations of a research university and
to teach courses in motor learning and other motor behavior related subjects
at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should demonstrate
research records and interest in fundable motor learning / behavior related
research areas.

Responsibilities: (1) Conduct scholarly research; (2) Teach undergraduate
and graduate classes; (3) advise graduate students; (4) direct theses and
dissertations; (5) seek external support for scholarly activities; and (6)
perform service to the department, college, university, and profession.

Rank: Assistant Professor

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
