View Full Version : Ambulatory system for long-term vertical GRF measurements

11-28-2007, 01:36 AM
Dear Biomech-L members,

My colleagues and I are looking for an ambulatory system, which can
continuously measure the (vertical component of the) Ground Reaction
Force (GRF) during a period of at least 5 days in a row, for a minimum
of 8 hours per day. Measurements will take place in a subject's own
environment, during his/her normal daily activities. Therefore, the
system must be small, light-weighted, and should not cause considerable
discomfort for the subject. For practical reasons it is important that
calibration, battery change and data download is not needed during the
measurement period.

Please inform me when you know if such a system exists.
I thank all of you in advance for your help.
