JOB ADVERTISEMENT - Biomechanical Aquatics Support Officer
The Aquatics, Testing Training and Research Unit at the Australian
Institute of Sport (A.I.S.) located in Canberra, Australia is looking to
employ a Biomechanical Support Officer. The A.I.S. has a new 50m, 10
lane, 3m deep pool which it is developing into a state of the art
technology pool to assist with the development of Australia's elite
competitive swimmers. Our website provides more information

of the unit. The primary responsibilities include assisting with further
development of technology in the pool and providing biomechanical
support in the servicing of Australian National team swimmers and
Australian Institute of Sport swimmers. The successful applicant will
require experience in the biomechanical servicing of international level
elite competitive swimmers. They should also have biomechanical
servicing and research skills. A Master's degree in Human Sports
Biomechanics or equivalent is required, as is highly proficient skills
in written and spoken English. The salary remuneration for the
successful applicant is in excess of AUD$60 per year and is negotiable
at the time of accepting the position. Australian citizens and
