Postdoctoral Researcher
Salary c. 28K - 36K inclusive pa

Applications are invited for a 15 month Post Doctoral Research Assistant on DEFRA funded project to develop a fully automated system that uses force plate gait analysis and pattern recognition techniques to identify changes in gait which indicate the onset of lameness in dairy cattle. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Engineering, Maths, Biology or related field and experience of software development in MATLAB, C++ or equivalent, especially for automated data management and analysis.

The post is based at our Hawkshead Campus 30 minutes from central London. You will be part of the world class Structure & Motion Laboratory, a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-equipped multi-disciplinary research team and will have opportunities to further your research interests in technology development, integrative biomechanics and related fields.
