Creighton University, a Catholic and Jesuit institution, invites
applications for a full time, 12-month tenure track faculty position in
the Department of Physical Therapy.

Applicants must be a physical therapist committed to excellence in
teaching, scholarship and service activities, hold a research doctoral
degree with potential for extramural funding, or have completed a
postdoctoral research fellowship. The Department is looking to build its
research capacity in movement science (http://cures.creighton.edu). In
addition, the Department will actively consider persons who can
strengthen our interdisciplinary research in health services
(http://chrp.creighton.edu ) or community
engagement in underserved communities (http://oisse.creighton.edu).
Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in Nebraska is
required. All areas of clinical expertise will be considered.

The Department of Physical Therapy with 16 full time and 2 part time
faculty members is an integral part of the Creighton University Medical
Center which is an academic health center campus. The Department of
Physical Therapy has established itself as a leader in clinical doctoral
education, offering entry-level and transitional DPT programs, an
accredited clinical residency program and service to the profession
through academic excellence and scholarship. The faculty educate and
mentor the professional development of future physical therapists,
contribute to the evolving base of physical therapy knowledge, and serve
the community by being "men and women for and with others". More
