Does anyone know about a reliable, cheap, and easy-to-use pressure
or force sensor (transducer, actually) that could be placed (externally)
on the palmar surface of the distal phalanx of a finger????

We intend to use such sensors to measure forces applied on objects
held by tetraplegic patients under neuromuscular electrical stimulation.
The sensors must not be bulky and must be relatively insensitive to
temperature variations.

Should somebody know of a transducer that fits the above characteristics,
and which is comercially available (preferably in the USA, but, hey,
if you know somebody in Brazil, that'd be even better), PLEASE let me
know. You see, to be honest, we are getting desperate here!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU ALL,
