View Full Version : twin axis goniometer sought after

04-09-2008, 02:09 AM
Dear Biomch-L members!

Currently our institute is undertaking some measurements in different sports. The
position of the wrist is to be acquired via gonimeters (abduction / abduction and
flexion / extension).

So far we have been using biometrics (http://www.biometricsltd.com/y%20gonio.htm)
sensors. But due to high velocities inaccuracies occurred and sensors were destroyed.

Thus we are looking for twin-axis goniometers that can be attached to the wrist and
are durable and mostly unaffected by accelerations and forces that act upon them.
Maybe some of you already have experienced (and hopefully solved) a similar problem.

I am looking forward to your replies.
