Post-Doctoral Position in Biomechanics at University of Delaware

An NIH-funded post-doctoral research position in the area of neuromuscular
biomechanics is currently available at the Center for Biomedical Engineering
Research in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of
Delaware. Responsibilities will include development and analysis of
musculoskeletal simulations of post-stroke hemiparetic gait based on
subject-specific imaging, muscle activation and gait analysis data.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent degree in mechanical
engineering, biomedical engineering or related field. The candidate must
possess independent research skills and must be able to work as part of a
team and communicate effectively with a range of people with varied
backgrounds. Prior experience with computational modeling of human movement
is preferred. The position requires a minimum 2 year commitment.
