Purpose of the Course
The course is intended to provide knowledge and analytical skills in basic concepts governing the biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system Course topics range from implant materials and their use in bone-implant systems to comparative orthopaedic models involving bone, cartilage, ligament, and tendon. Didactic lectures are integrated with hands on mechanical testing laboratories.
