This Meditech meeting will focus on the developments taking place in medical imaging and scanning
and theie use across a wide area of medical technology ranging from data acquisition to treatment
efficacy. Interest will be in the use of techniques which can assist in image, data and measurement
capture, data retrieval and image processing and analysis.

Invited presentions will be given by:

Laurent Cohen, Patrick Combettes, Stephen Richmond, Luc Soler, Gabor Szekely and Marc Thiriet.

Suggested Topics

Contributed papers and posters are welcome in the following areas.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging, X-Ray/Computed Tomography, PET and Ultrasound Systems.

Imaging Physics, Image Acquistion, Image Processing and Interpretation of Data.

Medical Imaging for Clinical Evaluation and Virtual Robotic Surgery.

The programme will consist of invited speakers who will present new developments in medical
imaging. Contributed presentations, posters or displays within this area of interest are most
welcome (oral presentations are 20 minutes).

The cost of the meeting will be Euro160 (sterling 130) and includes coffee breaks, lunches and the
seminar dinner.

Numbers are restricted to 80 attendees and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If

Please note that display space for companies, software houses and publishers etc, is free of charge
however the meeting fee applies for each person attending.
