Brigham Young University is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Exercise Sciences, specifically teaching courses involving biomechanics.


- Teach and advise undergraduate students in the Exercise Science program
- Teach and advise graduate students in the Exercise Science program and participate as chair and committee member for theses and dissertations
- Conduct ongoing research in biomechanics resulting in scholarly publications, professional presentations, and external funding
- Active professional and university citizenship
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate research resulting in refereed presentations and publications


- Doctorate in Exercise Science with biomechanics emphasis, or related field
- Demonstrated ability for high quality teaching and advising
- Active research/scholarship in biomechanics
- Ability and desire to seek internal and external funding
-Experience in professional organizations within applicant's discipline
