I would like to post information about a NEW doctoral research assistantship at the University of Virginia Graduate Programs in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. The position will work primarily as a research assistant with the sports medicine division of Orthopaedic Surgery whose faculty have high volume shoulder and knee surgery practices. The sports medicine division has multiple, ongoing research projects including several multi-site clinical trials. The research assistant will work together with clinical and research faculty to coordinate ongoing research pertaining to neuromuscular outcomes following orthopaedic injury and prevention of knee osteoarthritis.
This research assistant will be a full time doctoral student in Sports Medicine at the Curry School of Education. Stipend and tuition remission are available (pending final approval of funding).

The following are required:

* BOC certified athletic trainer
* Licensed to practice or eligible in the state of Virginia
* Admitted to the Curry School of Education graduate programs in sports medicine and athletic training
