Dear Biomech-List members,

The president of the Société de Biomécanique (French Society of
Biomechanics) and the Organising Committee are pleased to welcome you to
a Thematic Workshop entitled The human machine throughout sport
performances.

This Thematic Worshop will be in Poitiers, France, 14 and 15 May 2009.

The scientific program includes four keynote lectures, a roundtable and
oral presentations.

THEMES
Papers in all topics in the field of Sport Biomechanics will be
considered for oral presentation. We especially solicit papers in the
following areas of interest:

* Human mouvement Modelisation and Simulation
* Instrumentation
* Equipment
* Performance sports testing
* Motor performance and control
* Musculoskeletal mechanics
* Injury / Rehabilitation
* Fluid mechanics

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of this Thematic Workshop is the French. However,
oral presentations in English will be accepted.

ABSTRACTS
* Abstract can be in French or English
* Abstract must be about 400 words long with one figure
* Abstract must be contained in a A4 page
* Abstract must be submitted by email in pdf format to the secretary
(jtsb2009@univ-poitiers.fr ) before
Wednesday the 3rd of December 2008

The abstacts will be review by the Scientific Review Board.
Notification of acceptance will be send Wednesday the 7 of January 2009.

ARTICLES
* The final article can be in French or English
* The final article will be 3 to 4 pages long. Specific instructions
will be placed on this website
* The final article will be send by email to the secretary
(jtsb2009@univ-poitiers.fr ) before
Wednesday the 3rd of March 2009

All the Articles will be printed in a Book edited by the Société de
Biomécanique
