Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me find the following information about the Zerowire 16-Channel Wireless EMG system so that I can publish my results??

>From the ISEK "Standards for Reporting EMG Data" (1999)

input impedance

* Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR)

* signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)

* actual gain range used

Hardware Filtering

* filter types (e.g., Butterworth, Chebyshev, etc.)

* low and/or high pass cut-off frequencies 10-500Hz

* slopes of the cut-offs (dB/octave or dB/decade)

Any information or guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated

Dear Corey,
I'm Daniela Vorazzo from Aurion s.r.l., the ZeroWire manufacturer.
I have received your contact from Dr. Maura Casadio from the Northwestern University-Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.
I have attached to this e-mail a copy of the hardware manual for the ZeroWire EMG system and other documents.
Here following a brief answer to your questions:
- input impedance: 20MOhm
- CMRR: 90dB, even if it is not applicable because there is no an external ground electrode;
- SNR: >50dB;
- current gain: x1000;
- hardware filtering:
o the filter type is an analog RC (resistor-capacitor) filter, for both HP (high-pass) (to remove the DC component) and LP (low-pass) (as anti-alias);
o no more filtering neither analog and digital are applied;
o the bandwidth is 10-500 or 10-1000 depending on type of probe (selectable);
o slope: 6dB/octave.
