The meeting will be preceded by a workshop for junior biomechanists
(organized by Dr. Eric Eils) and an anatomy workshop with demonstrations
of the major joints in Thiel-embalmed specimens (in collaboration with
the local Department of Anatomy).

The congress will offer invited keynote presentations and accepted oral
and poster presentations on a range of relevant topics in the field of
biomechanics (non-exclusive list, depending on the submitted and
accepted abstracts):

*Possible Oral & Poster Topics:*
- Joint Biomechanics & Replacement
- Spine Biomechanics
- Bone Mechanics, Fracture Healing
- Sports Biomechanics
- Gait/Movement/Loading Analysis
- Regenerative Biomechanics, Tissue Engineering, Molecular Biology

- Muscle Mechanics, Neuromuscular Mechanisms
- Technology, Methods, Innovations
- Various Topics

Keynote speakers and topics will be:

- Prof. Dr. Dietmar Felsenberg, Charite Berlin 'On the Relationship
between Bone Quality and Muscle Activity' (Working Title)
- Dr. Robert van Deursen,PhD MSc MCSP MILTHE, Cardiff University
'Biomechanics as a toolbox to tackle clinical questions in Rehabilitation'
- Prof. Dr. Peter Augat, Paracelsus University Salzburg 'Imaging meets

Please refer to the website for information, registration and abstract
