View Full Version : Gait Kinematics

I’m having a hard time finding research that looks at constraints
imposed on participants that are required to wear a large amount of markers and
EMG electrodes while walking. Specifically, I’m trying to determine if the
wires that are required for some motion capturing systems and EMG equipment becomes
cumbersome to the participant and thus changes their natural gait pattern. Personally,
having to walk around in a lab with spandex on, no shirt, people looking, and
knowing the event is being video taped is enough to change any gait pattern

As always I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and any
journal articles that would be applicable to this.
