ESB VII / 1st EORS, Aarhus, Denmark (July 8-11, 1990)

Following the joint attitude parametrization debate on Biomch-L during February
and March, an informal workshop is being planned on this issue during the up-
coming VIIth Congress of the European Society of Biomechanics and the 1st Work-
shop of the European Society of Orthopaedic Research in Aarhus, Denmark (8-11
July, 1990). The Meeting is scheduled to take place after the Precourses, on
Sunday, July 8, 1990 (16:00 - 17:30), at the Orthopaedic Hospital in Aarhus.
Further details will be made available at the meetings' registration desk.

Proposed topics, in a kine(ma)tics context, are:

(1) pro's and con's of various parametrizations
(2) definitions of body segment co-ordinate systems
(3) landmark cluster definitions per body segment
(4) anything else thought to be relevant

I would be grateful for further suggestions, and for communications from the
readership on who would be interested in participating (space is at a premium:
the conference organizer, dr Ivan Hvid, has told me that he can accomodate
about 20 participants).

A new list on Stereo Photography

Purpose: 3D is a list for discussing 3D (stereo) photography -- a discipline
as old as photography itself, with a fascinating history and an enthousiastic
crowd of modern day practitioners and collectors. Membership is open to every-
one. You will be most likely to enjoy subscribing if you work in stereo your-
self, or if you are generally interested and would like to learn more. No par-
ticular expertise is required to participate here -- it's my hope that we can
share what expertise we do have so that everyone both learns something and has
the pleasure of helping others to learn. The list is currently not moderated.

To subscribe, send your name and email address to:

[This item was taken from file NETMONTH 1990FEB (obtained from LISTSERV@MARIST
via the SEND NETMONTH 1990FEB request). Netmonth is a list which issues more
or less regular issues on new developments on BITNET and affiliated networks.
In the February 1990 issue, the membership count is listed as 6083 which, com-
pared to Biomch-L's current 163, is rather impressive.]
