Ph.D. STUDENT VACANCY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TWENTE

The University of Twente (http://www.utwente.nl/en/) is an entrepreneurial research university, located about 200 km from Amsterdam in Enschede, a city in Twente. Research focuses on nanotechnology, information and communication technology, biomedical technology, policy studies, construction management & engineering, and mechanics. More than 7,000 students and 2,700 staff members live, work and recreate at the UT, the Netherlands’ only campus university with a park-like atmosphere and numerous sporting facilities.

The Biomedical Signals and Systems (BSS) chair (http://bss.ewi.utwente.nl/) is part of the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EWI: http://www.ewi.utwente.nl/en/index.html). BSS focuses on neural engineering and human motor control. BSS is embedded in the Institute for Biomedical Technology (BMTI: http://www.bmti.utwente.nl/) and the Centre for Telecommunication and Information Technology (CTIT: http://www.ctit.utwente.nl/). Both are interdisciplinary spearhead institutes of UT.
