We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 4th
Annual American Society of Biomechanics Southeast Regional symposium to
be held April 23rd-25th, 2009 at the University of Florida in
Gainesville, FL. Although, we plan to accept abstracts from all areas
represented by ASB's membership, the conference theme will be:
"Neuromechanics of Movement: Bridging the Gap from the Laboratory to the
Real World." This symposium, in the spirit of ASB meetings, will
encourage students in biomechanics, assist regional collaborations
between research institutions, and advance the state-of-the-art in
biomechanics. The program will include student presentations (podium
and poster), two keynote addresses, a student/faculty dinner banquet,
and round table discussions on current biomechanics research. The
tentative abstract submission deadline is April 3, 2009. More
