POST-GRADUATE STUDENTSHIP
DEPARTMENT OF SPORT AND EXERCISE SCIENCE
ABERYSTWYTH UNIVERSITY, ABERYSTWYTH, CEREDIGION, UNITED
KINGDOM
A Post-graduate Studentship is available in the Department of Sport and
Exercise Science at Aberystwyth University. Funding for tuition fees (to
EU / UK level) for an MPhil degree will be provided from charitable
donations to the Hywel Dda NHS Trust. An additional stipend to cover
living expenses will be paid for an average of five hours per week of
teaching assistance to academic staff, mainly in the form of supervising
laboratory classes and grading work.

The research project will involve creating criteria for identifying high
risk older adults
and then monitoring changes in health and functional ability during and
following a
rapid response strength and balance training programme at Bronglais
