There is a position available to obtain an M.Sc. in Applied Health Sciences in the area of Electromyographic Kinesiology. Research topics may include but are not limited to:

1. The relationship between indwelling muscle activity and the surface electromyogram (sEMG).

2. Modelling sEMG and signal processing.

3. Changes in neuromuscular function as assessed using H-reflex and muscle fiber conduction velocity methodologies.

4. Training-related changes in muscle activity.

The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. with course-work in biomechanics, computer programming, and experience with MATLAB a definite plus. The required GPA is 75 or higher. The total financial package is 13K, a portion of which is through a teaching assistantship in biomechanics. Applicants are sought from the U.S. and Canada with priority given to Canadian Citizens.
