View Full Version : Help regarding interfacing equipment for goniometer datacollection

NC State is conducting an experiment to collect joint angle data in
scaffolding operations. We have recently procured three goniometers
and a torsiometer from Biometrics Ltd. We currently use a Myopac
system from Run Technologies for EMG sensor data collection. The
sensors are integrated with a belt unit via a 37 pin AC connector. We
are interested in using the same system for the goniometer data
collection; however, the sensors require a 37 pin DC connector for
integration with the Myopac belt unit. Unfortunately, Run Technologies
has not responded to our communications and there are no DC connectors
for Myopac belt units available through Ebay. Besides they have closed
down business recently.

We are writing to ask if anyone might have a DC connector for a Myopac
belt unit that they would be willing to sell or loan to our lab. Our
experiment is scheduled from 6/23-25. We would need to procure or make
use of any connector approximately 2 weeks prior to these dates. We
are also interested in the possibility of purchasing other used
interfacing units that support data collection with Biometrics
electro-goniometers (e.g., DataLog or DataLink units from Biometrics,
Flex Comp systems, BIOPAC systems). If you have alternate forms of
interfacing units, please contact us. All equipment must be suitable
for laboratory use.
