Engineering, University of Liège, Belgium.

Description: A new biomedical engineering research unit was recently
established within the mechanical engineering department of ULg to support
the running master program of biomedical engineering. A graduate
assistantship is available for 2 years (twice renewable). Research will be
carried out in the area of computational modeling of tissue engineering and
bone fracture healing. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in
biomedical problems and an affinity for computer modeling. The candidate
should be an eager self-starter who is able to work with, and be part of, a
multidisciplinary (biomechanics and systems biology) research team. The
