Injury Biomechanics and Blast Physics

I want to pass along some information about a two-day symposium entitled
"Injury Biomechanics and Blast Physics." This interactive course includes
lectures, demonstrations, and opportunities for 'hands on' learning. The
course presents both introductory and advanced topics with background
information provided on all concepts.

The symposium will be August 4th and 5th at the Doubletree Hotel in
Arlington VA (between the Pentagon and Reagan Airport). More information
including the detail schedule can be found at:

http://www.cpe.vt.edu/biomech/index.html

If you register before July 24th, the first day is free, and a reduced rate
of $125 is required for the second day, which is focused on the blast
physics topics. After July 24th, the cost for both days is $175/day.
Registration is also found at:

I hope that you will consider attending, and let me know if I can help you
with any questions.

Sincerely,

Stefan Duma, PhD
